Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Claims Made Easy platform. Please read them carefully before signing up.

By signing up for or using Claims Made Easy, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
About Claims Made Easy
Claims Made Easy is a digital claims management platform operated by [Your Legal Entity Name], registered in South Africa ("we", "our", "us"). The platform provides insurance brokers with a branded digital claims portal for their clients ("the Service").
By creating an account, you ("the Broker") agree to these Terms of Service in full.
The Service
Claims Made Easy provides the following:
- A white-labeled digital claims submission portal for your clients
- A broker dashboard for claims tracking and management
- Client directory and document management tools
- Client request management
- Email notifications for claim activity
- Onboarding support and email customer support
We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features at any time. We will notify you of significant changes with at least 10 days notice.
Account Registration
To use Claims Made Easy, you must:
- Be a registered insurance broker or brokerage operating legally in South Africa
- Provide accurate and complete information during signup
- Keep your account details up to date
- Be at least 18 years of age
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access to your account.
Subscription and Payment
Plans and Pricing
Claims Made Easy is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Current pricing:
- Solo Brokerage: R349 per brokerage per month (up to 200 active clients)
- Growth Brokerage: R349 per brokerage per month (up to 400 active clients)
- Broker House: Custom pricing (contact us)
A one-off setup fee of R499 applies to all new accounts. This fee is non-refundable once onboarding has commenced.
Billing
Your subscription is billed monthly in advance. Invoices are issued on your activation date each month. Payment is due within 7 days of invoice date.
Founding Broker Offer
Qualifying founding brokers receive 30% off their first 3 months of subscription. This discount applies to the monthly subscription fee only and does not apply to the R499 setup fee. The offer is limited to the first 20 brokerages and may be withdrawn at any time.
Price Adjustments
Your subscription rate is locked for your first full year of service. After that, we may adjust pricing annually in line with the South African Consumer Price Index (CPI). You will always be notified of any price change at least 30 days before the new price takes effect. You may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect if you do not wish to continue.
Failed Payments
If payment fails, we will notify you immediately. You have 7 days to complete the payment before your account is suspended. Accounts suspended for more than 30 days may be terminated and data deleted in line with our data retention policy.
Your Responsibilities
As a broker using Claims Made Easy, you agree to:
- Use the platform only for lawful insurance-related purposes
- Ensure your clients are aware that their data is being processed through Claims Made Easy
- Comply with POPIA when collecting and managing client personal information through the platform
- Not share your account credentials with anyone outside your brokerage
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or duplicate any part of the platform
- Not upload any illegal, harmful, or offensive content
Client Data and POPIA
As a broker using Claims Made Easy to process your clients' personal information, you become a "responsible party" under POPIA. Claims Made Easy acts as an "operator" — we process data on your behalf.
You are responsible for
- Obtaining appropriate consent from your clients to process their personal information
- Ensuring your clients are aware their claim data is processed through our platform
- Handling all client data requests and complaints
We are responsible for
- Storing and securing client data in line with POPIA
- Processing data only as instructed by you
- Notifying you of any data breaches affecting your clients' information

Intellectual Property
All intellectual property in the Claims Made Easy platform — including code, design, features, and branding — belongs to us.
Your brokerage logo, brand colours, and any content you upload to the platform remain your property. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to use it solely for the purpose of operating the platform for your brokerage.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform
- Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim
- We are not liable for any loss arising from insurer decisions, claim outcomes, or delays caused by third parties
We do not guarantee that the platform will be available 100% of the time. We aim for 99.5% uptime and will notify you of planned maintenance in advance.
Cancellation and Termination
Cancellation by You
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for unused days in a billing period.
Termination by Us
We may terminate your account immediately if:
- You breach these Terms of Service
- You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Payment remains outstanding for more than 30 days
Data After Cancellation
After cancellation or termination, your data is retained for 60 days. During this period you may export your data. After 60 days, all data is permanently and irreversibly deleted.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
